A few times a year, when a new painting is finished or a series comes together, I share a short note from my studio — sometimes about the work itself, sometimes about what I’ve been thinking while making it.
No promotions, no pressure. Just quiet updates, when there’s something meaningful to share.
Our StoryI work slowly, often in small series, letting each painting develop over time rather than rushing it to completion. I’m drawn to restrained moments — animals at rest, landscapes that carry a sense of memory, figures placed quietly within their surroundings — and I use oil paint for its ability to hold subtle changes and pauses. The work isn’t meant to make statements or demand attention, but to create a calm presence that can live with someone over time.
